3 Fun Creative Play Kits to Keep Your Kids Busy

3 Fun Creative Play Kits to Keep Your Kids Busy

This half-term holiday (or for anytime), here are three great ideas for creative play from the people at Flair.

Aquabeads is listed for ages 4 and up, but we found that because of the small beads, younger children will definitely need supervision. Having said that, you’ll see that my 4 yr old had no trouble at all and really loved it. (My older daughters who are 5 1/2 and 7 loved it just as much, so this is a good toy for a range of ages.) It is also great for building fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.

Hello Kitty Cool Cardz is a great creative toy. You decorate your cards and then laminate them without any heat or any mess. It is listed for ages 6 and up, but my 4 year old had no trouble at all using it and I wouldn’t hesitate to let her use it again. This is good value for money if you have kids of different ages. All three of the girls really, REALLY loved this. It was a real winner in our house.

Charmies Magic Beader is a fun way to string beads onto the provided plastic string to make original necklaces, bracelets and keychains. This is for ages 6 and up and we found the final step of clasping the end beads to be slightly tricky but the round beading unit certainly does make stringing the beads easy and my daughters enjoyed using it. At the end of it all, you end up with jewellery! Who wouldn’t love that?
